- Go to Apple Menu and select System Preferences
- Look for Network and select it. You will see a plus(+) sign. Click on it to include a new interface.
- Choose ‘PPPoE’ and select Ethernet from the Ethernet menu. Click on Create.
- It will prompt for username and password. Type it as given by your ISP. If you want, you can Save the Password.
- Now, go to TCP/IP tab and select PPP or manually from ‘Configure IPv4’ pop-up menu. If you don’t know what to select, then a reliable Apple computer technical support can help you choose.
- In case of static IP address, enter it on the IP address field.
- Go to DNS tab and click on the + sign and type the DNS server provided by ISP. Save the settings by click on Apply Now.
